To our Valued Suppliers:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the past years.

We have done our best to collect, process and market all of your plastic waste materials for recycling.  Unfortunately, many of our customers and markets have been unstable during this time.  In many cases, we have had no markets at all for extended periods.  We have held on as long as we can in an effort to serve our customers and keep your plastic waste from being disposed of.  Because we do not see significant improvement, we have decided to simplify our plant operations and suspend receipt and processing of some materials.

Therefore, as of April 1, 2017, we will no longer accept:

  • Styrene plug trays
  • Seed sacks (both plastic and paper)
  • Woven super sacks (except those used for holding approved materials)
  • Woven animal feed bags
  • Onion bags
  • Mixed colored film sheets and bags
  • Bale wrap
  • Strapping
  • Lumber wrap
  • Cardboard
  • Cores
  • Pipe

We will continue to accept baling twine, triple-rinsed chemical jugs and drums, buckets, greenhouse film, LDPE foam and shrink wrap.

We will also continue to accept select nursery pots, trays and crates.  We do not accept any pots that are marked “made from recyclable materials” or that were manufactured in Asian countries.  These pots are not recyclable. No pot tags.

If you have any questions about specific materials not listed, please contact us at 503-390-2381.
